Almageste (2025)
Single-channel digital video, Color, Sound, 19’, 2025

Conceived by Claudius Ptolemy in 150 AD, the Almagest (Αλμαγέστη) is the first mathematical and astrological compendium that established a geocentric model of the universe. A false yet enduring cosmology that shaped humanity’s anthropocentric illusion for over twelve centuries. “Almageste” is a cinematic essay/ meditation on obsolete cosmologies and our collective darkness, unfolding through an image and text correspondence between the filmmaker and Greek writer Stelios Papagrigoriou, joined by the unsuspecting ghosts of André Breton and Marguerite Duras.
